The Langoliers Have Found Xanga
It appears that my Xanga site is being devoured by the Langoliers. Many of my pictures have evaporated. Links in old posts go nowhere.
My subscription expires on April 27th and I don't think I'll renew. If it were the same as it was ten years ago, it would be a bargain at twice the price. But now...
If any of you have developed Word Press blogs, as I have, please send me a link so I can follow you there.

I've been posting on Xanga and copying to WP -- have been having serious issues with that recently, and am about to abandon it. I will continue on Xanga, and you should be able to reach me there for view and comment, even if you can't post. The WP url is slmret.wordpress.com, and for Xanga, I believe it's zanga.com/slmret
I'm so sad that you are leaving xanga. Please let me know what your wordpress url is so I can visit you there. I haven't made a word press site but have considered it... I guess I'm just too loyal for my own good.
I have been having problems copying my posts to Xanga, but I think I now have it figured out. The url is https://slmret.wordpress.com. Do let me know if you switch to WP as well -- I'd like to keep in touch with you!

Hey, judyrutrider! Hello to you. I just wrote you an inspiring (at least to me) msg but hit the wrong key and lost it. I refuse to admit I'm losing it: must be the laptop is getting old. My lost message to you was an impassioned plea to keep on trucking, I mean rutriding with Xanga, because... uh, well, like your friend 'slmret and mcbery replied to you -- {"I'm doing the same things as slmret. I'm loyal too and hate to leave all the years of happenings in my life."
4/4/2017 3:13 AM mcbery } About that dry spell on Xanga: I'm part of the dry spell, I guess, although I don't exactly know why. I got together with a gal who liked my guitar and singing, then my mother died, I bought 1 1/4 acre +house outta town, I've neglected my ham radio, I've built 1/2 (the foundation) of an addition/garage/studio so I can complete a large copper sculpt, I've got all these memories here on Xanga, an an an sob! I wanna hang onto the past ...AAGGH!
There! I feel better now. I hope the dry spell is over.

Hey, judyrutrider: I was trying to say that I made a payment to Xanga last November "they' didn't credit my acct/re-instate Xanga for me till months later, but REWarded me with two years of Xanga. That's OK with me, because I have not been very active on Xanga because my imagination tells me I'm a very busy guy, whereas in fact I've been lost in doldrums. Rejoice! A southwesterly harkens to my fragile ship of the soul. SO -- I shall remain on Xanga and WordPress. I hope you do too, but whatever, let me know, 'cuz I don't want to lose your postings. I have read many of the ruts you've ridden, but either lost my reply, because it was to long winded, or something. try
